This Privacy Policy explains what information FreoJob (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit https://freojob.com, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information you give us: your name, email address and message when you use our contact form, email us or leave a comment.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on page and the website that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 3).

To understand which articles are useful and improve the site (analytics).
To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
To show advertising that helps keep FreoJob free (see section 4).

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to measure traffic. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited and approximate location. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. Comments

When you leave a comment we store the name, email and comment text, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to show your profile picture.

7. How long we keep data

Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months. Comments are kept until they are deleted. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics retention settings (14 months).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@freojob.com.

9. Children

FreoJob is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Links to other websites

Our articles link to other websites, such as official statistics and regulators. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
